Here's what you'd be responsible for:
Assisting servers and delivering food in assigned section(s).
Maintaining a clean work station and dining area.
Clearing dining tables and ensuring dishes are taken to dish washing area of the kitchen.
Ensuring quality with proper presentation and accuracy of food orders.
Table maintenance to include water refills, removal & replacement of plate ware, silverware and glassware as guest completes each dish.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a full-service restaurant preferred.
Must have proven customer service skills.
Ability to work in an upscale, fast-paced environment, and work well in a team atmosphere, under pressure.
Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and flat ware.
Ability to know all menu items & ingredients as well as proper presentation.
Understanding of health and safety rules in a restaurant.
Knowledge about plating & presentation.
Strong organization, attention to detail & multi-tasking skills.
Ability to stand and walk for an eight-hour shift.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
